Right now, the widest variety of BMW 2 Series model is available in Germany, as is normal. If you live in the European country you can have your pick out of 3 models: the 220i, 220d and M235i.
However, 2 new models are soon to join the range. Unfortunately, they’re both diesels. The 218d and 225d models are set to join in somewhere in March.

As you probably guess, the 218d will be the entry level model, priced somewhere below the cheapest 2er at the moment, the EUR29,950 220i, bringing 143 HP and 320 Nm of torque to the range.

The 225d will slot in right beneath the M235i in Europe, with 218 HP and 450 Nm of torque (332 lb-ft), priced somewhere in the vicinity of EUR38,000. Both cars will be available with manual or automatic gearboxes.
