2014 model year brings changes to the BMW K1600GT family, with three of the machines receiving new paint, and a new sporty trim being prepared for the next year.
The most important addition to the family is the K1600GT Sport, a new trim for the acclaimed touring motorcycle, now offered for a base price of €20,920 ($27,450). The sporty K1600GT arrives in a striking, cool two-tone finish, combining Satin Orange Metallic and Black Storm Metallic and decorations.
The wheels of the 2014 BMW K1600GT Sport are now painted in gloss black, and the wind shield is lower. Another change is the sport-design seat, definitely looking as cool as it gets.
The base model of the K1600GT will no longer be available in Light Grey Metallic, while the K1600GTL will be offered in Magnesium Beige Metallic in combination with Platinum Metallic for the frame and footrest baseplates. This combination replaces the old Mineral Silver Metallic/ Magnesium Metallic scheme.
The Sport version of the BMW K1600GT will be available as of August the 1st, BMW Motorrad informs us.
