BMW has taken the veil of another limited edition M3 Coupe, this time not for the Chinese market, but for North America. This stunning stealth fighter is called the Frozen Black M3 and will be available in a limited production run of 20 units for the USA, each priced at a hefty $79,650, not including a $875 destination charge.

This makes it some $21,000 more expensive than the regular M3 Coupe, so what has BMW done to justify you having to ask you credit officer for the extra cash?

If you are looking for performance modifications the answer is not much, but the cosmetic changes are something special if you ask us. As you might have noticed already, the M3 has been painted in a flat Individual Frozen Black color and comes equipped with 19-inch GTS (yes, the same wheels as on the M3 GTS) wheels finish in gloss black, with the same color being applied to the kidney grilles, fender vents and exhaust tips. Basically, this is the perfect car if you want to pull of a bank robbery at night, because if you turn the lights of, it will be as invisible as a black cat.

The package also includes red-colored brake calipers, black leather interior with contrasting red stitching and carbon fiber accents. The suspension has been lowered slightly, by 10 mm and that’s about it on the performance front.

Interested? You can buy one of the first 19 by reserving it from Thursday, June 16, 2011, while deliveries will come in late June. BMW North America says it will hold onto the last one but it may decide to sell it at a later date.
