Back in August, the 4th stage of the BMW Slalom Cup Deutschland took place at a truck stop in Wornitz, Germany. There were 62 participants and the weather was hot and sunny, perfect for such an event.
There wasn't anything special about this gathering, except, maybe one car. One car that made everyone cheer when it lined up at the starting line. We're talking, of course, about Klaus Karnatschke's BMW 2002.
The car was heavily modified and could be deemed worthy of wearing the M badge on the front grille. His run was nothing short of impressive, especially since his car already reached a certain age.
Nevertheless, Klaus did his best and the crowd went mad. It truly is a rare occasion to see such a car on the street, even in Germany, the home of BMW and German engineering. Seeing such a car in a slalom competition is even better. Enjoy!
