Just hours after the 2 Series made its debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show the official configurator for the new model went online on BMWUSA.com.
You can now configure your own 2er on the website, with prices starting at $32,100 for the 228i and going up to $43,100 for the M235i, without the $925 handling and shipping tax.
Unfortunately, right now you can’t make every combination you want, some paints being restricted to one or another model or one or another line. For example, the M235i can only be ordered with the 436M 18” double-spoke wheels, whereas for either the M Sport or the Sport Line 228i you can have your pick out of 2 different wheel models.
For the M Performance 2er you can pick out of 7 paint colors, only one non-metallic (Alpine White) whilst for the 228i there are 13 different choices out of which Estoril Blue is restricted to the M Sport version.
Now you can head-on down to the configurator, make your own 2 Series and share your preferred version with your friends. Let us know how much your car would cost.
