BMW 1M Coupe with Extreme Exhaust Sounds like an AK-47

When in Monaco, grabbing attention in a BMW 1M Coupe might not be as easy as in other parts of the world. With the city-state being one of the world's supercar capitals, your tail-happy, limited-production M division machine won't shine at its full brightness due to the tons of wild contraptions revving and cruising all around you.

Nevertheless, the aftermarket world always has solutions for such issues and the 1M Coupe model in the video at the bottom of the page is a perfect example of this.

The first thing that draws attention is the wrap of the sportscar, but we've seen so many of these second skin adventures that it's difficult to focus on this particular one. However, the most important custom part of this BMW is its exhaust.

The three-liter inline six under the hood has been gifted with a custom exhaust that sounds nothing short of an AK-47. While the system allows the twin-turbo engine to express its feelings and emotions, the icing on the cake is during the overrun phase, when the insane popping turns this 1M Coupe into an attention magnet.

The vehicle comes from a group of Swiss enthusiasts who call themselves Team Narex and, as far as we can tell, only ride in Bavarian machines. The 1M was recently paraded around Monaco and when that extravagant exhaust delivered its blow, car spotters were quick to catch the car on camera.

The video below allows you to get a good taste of this BMW's aural treatment, going from mid-range acceleration to full blasts in the Monaco tunnel, the part of the city that can easily cater to such needs.

Come to think of it, the BMW 1M Coupe is a brilliant choice for Monaco's tight roads, with its short wheelbase (compared to the M3 it shares its tracks with) agility serving the car well.
