It’s tempting to try and find out if you can push the 1-Series M Coupe into M3 territory, since the little pocket rocket delivers a much purer performance level. Manhart Racing has done just such a project, transforming the 1M into their own racing car, the MH1 S-Biturbo equipped with Stage 3 tuning program.
The 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six has been boosted to produce 465hp and 600Nm. This was achieved by adding a new sports exhaust system with downpipes and stainless steel Mufflers, as well as a carbon fiber airbox for better breathing. To ensure it doesn’t overheat, they’ve also changed the radiators and intercoolers.

To match the extra power, the looks have also been enhanced with help from some carbon fiber aero bits that include a front splitter, rear diffuser, and mirror covers.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
