BMW 120i Coupe Performance Unlimited Edition for Japan

German manufacturer BMW is cooking up a special edition of the 1 Series for the Japanese market, in what is only the last in a series of such edition released in the past few months across the world.

Dubbed 120i Coupe Performance Unlimited Edition, this special vehicle for Japan will only be produced in 30 units and will sell for around 4,350,000 Yen ($50,000). According to BMWblog.com, the car has become available starting July 30.

What will set the car apart from its regular sibling will be a series of features which blends BMW Performance and BMW Individual cues.

The car features the M Sport Package with mixes of Performance aero, being fitted with black kidney grille, carbon mirror covers, carbon rear trunk spoiler and White Pearl Individual paint. It rides on double-spoke 216 18″ M light alloy wheels.

On the interior, the RHD version of the 1 Series boasts M leather, M sport steering wheel, BMW Individual high-gloss shadow trim, aluminum door sills and pedals and M sport seats.

The Unlimited Edition for the Japanese 1 Series comes right after the announcement of the BMW X6 Unlimited Edition. The SUV has been built last month in a limited run of only 20 units and boasts about the same combination of packages seen on the 1 Series.

Last week, the 3 Series received a Dynamic Edition for the 3 Series sedan in South Africa. To be manufactured in bigger numbers though, 300 units, the Dynamic Edition will be available for the 320i, 320d and 335i. Prices for the Dynamic Edition were not announced.
