In the wake of the launch of the first front-wheel-drive BMW 1 Series, the world is kind-of waiting to see what the company has in store and how it will digress from the traditional rear-wheel-drive DNA that made it the icon it is today.
The Bavarians are still teasing us with various concepts of the new car that will, most likely, be called 1 Series GT, emphasizing the grand tourer character that is supposed to make it a hit.
The guys from X-Tomi Design created what they call a rendering of the production version, that is supposed to be very similar to the Active Tourer Outdoor Concept unveiled earlier this year.
Their take has production rearview mirrors, a new middle section on the front bumper, new wheels and different door handles. Other than that, the car looks basically the same as the concept and we think the guys might be on to something here. If we're right or not, only time will tell.
