Dubbed DC50, the electric sportscar will deliver up to 360 bhp and a 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration that will “match a Porsche”. The vehicle will also feature electrically operated scissor doors and return a range of up to 200 miles (322 kilometers). The Formula E race car, named Bluebird GTL, will meet the latest technical regulation for the forthcoming 2014 FIA Formula E series.

Both EVs will be unveiled at England's Sustainable MotoExpo on September 28.

"The Campbell family and Bluebird have had a long association with the National Motor Museum Beaulieu. The museum is home to a wonderful historic land speed display celebrating the achievements of Sir Malcolm Campbell and Donald Campbell. It seems only fitting that we will be launching both the Bluebird DC50 electric sportscar and Bluebird GTL electric race car at Beaulieu,” said Don Wales, grandson of founder Sir Malcolm Campbell and nephew of Donald Campbell.
