Blood, Sweat & Heels Star Arrested for Skipping Out on $18 Cab Fare

One of the actors starring Bravo’s reality show Blood, Sweat & Heels Geneva S. Thomas was allegedly arrested the other day after she decided not to pay the $18 cab fare for the ride she took in New York City. Even though she faces theft charges, the 31-year old says she is not guilty and that she will sue NYPD.

If you’re among the fellows who enjoy those reality TV shows, you might have met Thomas. She is a stle and pop culture journalist, brand strategist and the Managing Director of the newly launched 1530 Agency – a New York City-based digital agency that also houses her Style for Breakfast Series. Known as the “Style Scholar” for the having studied and worked in Paris, London, Scotland and South Africa, Thomas earned a Master’s of Arts in fashion history and journalism from New York University.

She got really popular ever since Bravo’s Blood, Sweat & Heels reality television series met a big success. The premiere episode ranks as a network best of series premiere, averaging 2.5 million viewers and 1.4 million in the adults aged 18-49 viewership demo.

All these considered, you’d expect the journalist to afford a $18 taxi ride, which is why we still have our doubts about the news. According to TMZ, law enforcement claim they were able to track down Geneva because the driver took note of the address where he dropped her off. On the other hand, she 31-year old claims the whole thing is a lie and that she’s planning to sue the NYPD and the taxi company.
