Blonde hood ornament for the Oscar Geiger Escalade

As you probably know, the 2007 Academy Awards Ceremony is getting closer and closer. OK, fine, but what does this have to do with cars? Well, know that GeigerCars took the latest Cadillac Escalade ESV and turned it into an Oscar-mobile. They call it the STAR FORCE VIP shuttle and this blinged-out piece of work was commissioned by a German TV station. They even asked their blonde presenter, Annemarie Warnkross, to serve as a model for the gold-plated hood ornament.

From a performance point of view, the Escadale ESV was not modified extensively, but it still received an stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system which increases the power of the Escadale by 20 horsepower. So they went from 403 horsepower up to 423, all in a 6.2 liter V8 engine.

As for the outside of the Escadale, everything that could be chromed received this treatment, the rims, door handles and the front grille. Add a black coat of paint with the TV station STAR FORCE colour scheme, Pirelli Scorpion Tires and lower the ground clearance by 100 millimeters and you have the GeigerCars Escalade. Almost forgot, the golden Annemarie Warnkross hood ornament, which resembles the ones found on Rolls-Royces tops it all.

The interior also received a makeover and now the seats have two colours, red and black with the STAR FORCE logo, leather of course. The usual LCD projector beam which can beam the images on the glass panel coated with a holographic projection surface oil and the 1,000 Hi-Fi system can entertain the celebrity passengers.

This car will be used by the German television staff to cover live the 2007 Academy Awards Ceremony, probably the ultimate job perk but at the same time a great way to blend in the Oscar atmosphere.
