Blazin' Through Baja features British rally rider Lyndon Poskitt and his Japanese teammate Yuji Shinohara in their epic journey to the start line of the famous Mexican competition. Even though Lyndon managed to finish the 2015 Baja Rally edition in the second place, it doesn't mean that the road to desert glory was an easy one, and this documentary shows this only too well.

The movie is a nice story told in an even nicer way, as Poskitt is no stranger to storytelling. He has been involved with UK's Adventure Spec in co-producing a TV series broadcast online, Races to Places. Lyndon used to travel around the world with his KTM 690 Rally and enter various competitions, documenting his experience for years.

The Baja Rally is inspired by the Dakar and is the biggest navigation-based off-road competition in North America. Also one of the most grueling rallies in the world because of both the harsh desert terrain, unwelcoming weather conditions and route difficulty, the Baja Rally is often the final race even for experienced riders, and fatalities are not as rare as you'd think.

This year only, three people lost their lives in the Baja 500, including two riders and an eight-year-old child. The Baja black list, unfortunately, includes Kurt Caselli, one of the most promising young riders KTM had on the Dakar team.

Back in November 2013, Kurt crashed into an animal during the Baja 1000 rally and was critically injured. He succumbed to his massive head injuries during being airlifted to the hospital. Caselli had just signed a three-year contract with KTM's factory Dakar team after making his debut in South America replacing injured Marc Coma and even winning two stages.

Grab some cold beers and treat yourselves to some awesome rally-raid action with Blazin' Through Baja.
