The Italians from Ducati have been very busy during these closing months of the year. The last we heard of them was a few days ago, when they introduced the new Multistrada V4, but now here comes fresh news from the Xdiavel and Scrambler fronts.
Ducati released new variants for the two bike families, aiming to get them in shape for the upcoming model year. Alongside visual upgrades, there are a few modifications meant to give the bikes an increase in power and emission compliance.

For the Xdiavel there are two new models up for grabs. First comes the all-black Dark, sporting the color on most of its body, including the mechanical components, plates, and finishes. Then, we have the Black Star, a model that takes inspiration from “the world of sports cars” and blends matt grey, black, and the iconic Ducati red.

Together with the other bikes in the range, the new ones have an 8 hp gain over the previous levels, and the engines are now Euro 5 compliant.

The Scrambler family is enhanced with the introduction of the Nightshift, ”inspired by the metropolitan world.” The main difference are the straight and narrow handlebar with cafe racer mirrors, the lack of a rear mudguard, and a new flat two-seat saddle.

All Scramblers also become Euro 5 compliant.

Ducati plans a phased rollout of the new models, which should be over and done with by the end of January 2021. It’ll start with the XDiavel Dark (already out on the market), and end with the Scrambler Icon. The launch of the Nighshift is planned for December, while the Black Star comes at the end of this month.

For pricing information, customers are asked to contact their local dealer. Full details on the new bikes and the expanded range can be found in the press release section below.
