If you’re in search of a rare supercar built in Japan, then you should definitely check out this almost brand-new Lexus LFA recently posted by a UK dealership.
It’s not one of those ultra rare Nurburgring Editions but its still one out of the 500 ever built units.

This one here came out of the factory in 2011 being the 202 unit. Oh and guess what... it’s almost brand new. Whoever had it only did 520 km (323 miles) in it.

The interior has been finished in a classic red-white-black leather combination and it comes with whatever you need in a supercar, like satellite navigation, sport seats, parking aids, tire pressure monitoring system, carbon fiber trimmings, shift paddles, climate control and more.

Price is set at £280,000, and you can check the full ad here. As you know, Lexus only built 500 examples of the LFA between 2010 and 2012 and, perhaps with the exception of used examples, they’re all sold out. Even Paris Hilton owns one.

However, Bloomberg reported at some point that the Japanese brand might be interested in coming up with a successor for the LFA. Back then, they cited Lexus Executive Vice President, Mark Templin:

"Akio [Toyoda] believes that every generation deserves to have a car like an LFA, so we're building an LFA for the generation we have today. At some point, there may be another special car for another generation."

But if that doesn't happen, they're not really to blame. Wanna know the reason? It’s not difficult to understand why Lexus would have a hard time replaying the LFA story. I mean, just think about this: this was a car that, if sold based on its specs alone, wouldn’t have made sense.

In any case, this is not the first LFA put up for sale. Another example is this chrome-wrapped model, available for some $1,428,000.
