Birdman Has Yet to Pay the $8 Million for His Maybach Exelero

When it comes to rappers we all know they have the most expensive and opulent cars, ‘cribs’ and the list can go on. But when it comes to four wheels, rappers have their own way of spending - as a matter of fact they have no limits...well most of them. One of the large handed rappers who plans on taking over the word in his new supercar is none other that Birdman, the co-founder of Cash Money Records and one of the most highly appreciated artists today.

The mogul rapper announced earlier this year that he had settled for the purchase of the one-off Maybach Excelero coupe, but Birdman has reportedly yet to pay the bill for the car.

The Maybach is a test vehicle commissioned by Fulda Reifenwerke tire company. The manufacturer designed the vehicle for Fulda, but the building process took place in Italy.

The luxurious beast features a twin-turbocharged V12, cranking out 700 hp and 753 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 218 mph. Thus, most will say that this would be the perfect ride for a mogul like Birdman, but it seems that $8 Million price tag might be out of his reach. According to Arnaud Massartic, the current owner of the car, the rapper has yet to bake the cash for the custom car, though Birdman maintains the Exelero will be in his possession by December. Apparently, the rapper has a long history of not paying for vehicles in full.

“I’ve sold him 30-40 cars over the past 8-10 years and he’s never had a problem paying his bills. Are there notes on some of his cars? Sure. But there’s probably a note on your car, too,”
luxury car dealer Marc Stromvig was quoted as saying by Forbes.
