People do all sorts of crazy things on the Nurburgring. From lapping the track in tour busses to crashing, the Green Hell has seen it all. Nevertheless, now and then we get to see some dude who acts as if the Nordschleife was his own back yard.
While on certain occasions these people happen to be drivers, today we’re dealing with a bike who has surprised us all with his manoeuvre over the weekend.

A little u-turn. This is what the biker in question decided to pull while performing a lap of the ‘Ring as part of the tourist days or Touristenfahrten, as aficionados like to call this type of events.

You can see the man, who, judging by the sound, is riding a v-twin machine, waiting for a Megane RS to pass and then initiating the turn. As usual when somebody attempts to pull such a move on a road where other vehicles come speeding from behind, the man fails to appreciate the speeding of an incoming Mercedes-Benz W201 correctly.

The Benz driver appears to make serious use of the brakes, with the whole episode fortunately engine in a crash-free manner.

This was one rider who though he knew what he was doing and it only goes to show how dangerous such public Nurburgring baths can be, whether you’re on another bike or inside a car. Sure, it's better than not having access to the infamous track at all, but it can all get violent rather easy.

P.S.: this was a weekend Nurburgring session, so it only seems appropriate to call this guy a Sunday rider.
