Really bad day for an Aussie rider after apparently going a bit too wide through a turn: not only he crashed, but his bike was reduced to a pile of smoldered metal, worth less than a cheap beer.
It looks like the chap went a bit off the road, through the gravel at the side of the asphalt strip and lost control of the bike, which headed several meters down the embankment in the bushes.
As if this wasn't bad enough already, the motorcycle collided with the metal rail guard, most likely this being the cause of the fire. Being close to the middle of nowhere, the rider and his fellows had no choice when it came to putting the fire out.
Firefighters were called but it was little they could do. Luckily the bike exploded while 4 people rushing toward it were still at a safe distance.
Needless to say that carrying the remnants of this unfortunate event to a scrap yard will most likely be more expensive than what they could bring him, if anything at all.
