After launching just one year ago, on September 26, 2012, more than 5,000 units of the three heavy-duty trucks of the brand have managed to roll off the assembly line.

“In as little as twelve months, we have gained a foothold on the Indian market and lived up to our brand promise 'Power Ahead'. We will work just as powerfully in the upcoming months to further expand our product portfolio as well as our dealership network.” summed up Marc Llistosella, Managing Director and CEO of DICV, on the occasion of a Chennai-located event celebrating the first market anniversary of the brand.

Despite a rather difficult market environment and having no previous history locally, the BharatBenz truck brand was able to reach fourth place in India's ranking of new truck registration in the second quarter of 2013.
