The first feature of the “Lexus Short Films” series, resulted from a unique collaboration between Harvey Weinstein and Lexus, has been posted online after being premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
Directed by Cristina Molino, the first film from the series is called “Beyond Memories”. Now don’t expect it to feature Lexus-badged cars, because it’s actually about a woman who “believes that forgetting is the only way of moving on with her life, but one day she realizes that she can't make memories from a previous life completely disappear.”
The remaining four films from the series, which were directed by Justin Tipping, Campbell Hopper, Chan Chung Ki and Mitsuyo Miyazaki, will be released on Youtube next month.
