Bet You Haven’t Seen a Lamborghini Huracan with Its Rear Bumper Off Yet

There’s something specifically sexy about a mid-engined supercar exposing a bit of its engine compartment by having it’s rear apron taken of. Sure, on most occasions you’ll only get to see the exhaust, not the engine itself, but the technical striptease is enough of a wicked game for us.

We’re pretty sure you haven’t seen the Lamborghini Huracan in this state so far. That’s because the usual manner in which supercars get convinced to lose the apron is when tuners take them apart in order to play with the exhaust. The freshness of the Huracan means not too many aftermarket developers have had the chance to play with it yet and this is exactly what’s going on in the adjacent images.

This example of the Aventador got tweaked in Poland last month, with aftermarket developer Frequency Intelligent Exaust playing with the Raging Bull. The stock exhaust was removed - notice the sound-controlling valves owners sometimes decided to play with, so that they always remain open - this is some sort of DIY exhaust tuning, but beware of the drawbacks: when you’re on the highway, or, why not, on a busy morning, you may not want to defeat the purpose of the valves and have too many decibels surrounding you.

Returning to the custom exhaust job, Frequency Intelligent Exaust hasn’t released too many details about its also valve-gifted Huracan system. So far, we only know that while the OEM exhaust tips the scales at 67 lbs (30.45 kg), the custom one weighs 37.5 lbs (17.25 kg).

And while we’re waiting for a video to be released (Raging-Bull-on-steroids-soundtrack anybody?), we can pass the time with the help of the rather NSFW images below.
