About three years ago we showed you some renderings with Lucra Cars’ next model, the LC470. Well, that is alive and it actually reached the 2015 model year. The guys over from Barcroft Cars recently met with the company's boss and the video you’ll see below will make you hair raise on the back of your neck.
You see, Lucra Cars has two main goals: first is to create the perfect combination between American muscle and European handling, and second, they want to scare the living soul out of you.
Thus, the LC470 was born. It’s built on a tubular chassis, has a lightweight body, it’s very low and sleek almost looking like a stretched Shelby Cobra, goes like stink and sounds like a hell-spawn creature. All without giving you the impression of a cheap kit car.
In fact, you have to place an order and wait about 8 weeks until you can take it home, because it’s hand built by master craftsmen using the best materials at hand. You can chose between a 6.3-liter GM LS3, a 7-liter LS7 or even a Mercedes AMG 6.3 V8 to provide the oomph to the rear wheels via either a 7-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual.
The company also lets you come by when the chassis is mated to the engine and test the car out on a track while being supervised by a professional racing driver. So, when you’ll be out there on your own, you’ll already know how to tame this beast.
And we really mean that. You’ll see how fierce it is in the video bellow, where even the boss gets a bit scared when he pushes the start button.
