Best 2008 Car Design to Be Awarded at Geneva Auto Show

Since the end of the year is rapidly approaching, Car Design News is preparing to reward the readers' favorite car designs of 2008.

The design teams behind the most voted cars will receive an award from the Car Design News team at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Prizes will be given to the best vehicle in the concept and production car categories.

In order to make the choice much easier, the Car Design News team has already selected la crème-de-la-crème of the concept and production vehicles unveiled since the 2008 Detroit Auto Show. Yet, only readers can make the final decision.

Among the nominations for the 2008 Concept Design of the Year, we note: BMW GINA, Buick Invicta, Chrysler ecoVoyager, Citröen Hypnos, Lamborghini Estoque, Land Rover LRX, Mazda Furai, Pininfarina Sintesi, Renault Ondelios and Saab 9-X Air.

As for the 2008 Production Design of the Year, readers can choose beteween: Chevrolet Camaro, Citröen C3 Picasso, Ferrari California, Fisker Karma, Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Genesis Coupe,  Nissan Cube, Opel Insignia, Renault Mégane Coupe or Toyota iQ.

As readers get only one chance to vote, they should do it accordingly for in case they change their minds, they should wait for the next year awards.

Last year, BMW Concept CS was the lucky winner at the Best Concept Design of 2007 and Roberto Giolito's Fiat 500 was rated as the Best Production Design.  Going even further back in time, in 2006, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione won the award in the Production Design category.

Keeping that in mind and the numerous nominees, who will it be this year?!
