Bertone Alfa Romeo Pandion Concept Leaked Photos

We all knew that the 2010 Geneva show, which will open its doors to visitors next month, wasn't all about production models or concepts that could be mass manufactured in a few years. So here's Bertone's special gift to Alfa Romeo, the Italian brand that is now the subject of a major merger with other Fiat-owned brands. Leaving the industrial and business topics aside, Bertone tried his best to launch what it's called the Pandion concept. We don't know exactly what's the story behind this name but googling Pandion returns some possible explanations: besides the somewhat-popular XMPP client used in the past, Pandion also stands for two kings of Athens in Greek mythology and for Pandionidae, a type of bird. It appears these two are somewhat related but that doesn't really concerns us... Getting back to the car, we must admit it looks great. Except for the rear, if it can be named so. Otherwise, Bertone managed to incorporate Alfa's signature front fascia in this concept which looks pretty good at the first glance. Obviously, details or any other information are still an enigma but even so, the futuristic trend probably continues at the interior as well. So, expect top-notch technologies and eye-catching designs, copyright to the same Stile Bertone. autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
