As July 10th draws nearer, Bentley decided to unveil an electric grand tourer to celebrate the automaker’s 100th anniversary. But before that, two luxo-SUVs have been revealed with much pomp and circumstance.
Jack Barclay, which is the oldest Bentley retailer in the world, commissioned two exclusive models in collaboration with Savile Row tailor Huntsman. The Bentaygas are called Businessman and Sportsman, and as you can tell from the photo gallery, the two differ in terms of exterior finishes and interior appointments.

Both models utilize Huntsman fabrics such as the Peck 62 created in celebration of Huntsman’s centenary. Inspired by the Gregory Peck coat, this tweed was originally woven by Hunters of Boara. The material replaces the wood veneer in the bone-stock Bentayga, and the buyers of the limited-edition models will further be treated to bespoke Huntsman jackets.

The rear-seat chessboard in the Businessman mirrors the chequerboard floor at the Jack Barclay showroom which has been in place since 1954. The chessboard is completed by a drawer which houses the chess pieces, and that’s an interesting pastime for whoever is chauffeured in the Bentayga.

Mulliner finished the Sportsman with more tweed on the passenger and driver fascias, complemented by Liquid Amber veneer trim and Imperial Blue leather upholstery. The Candy Red exterior contrasts nicely with the Anthracite Satin paintwork of the Businessman, which has a more urban spirt thanks to the carbon-fiber detailing.

“Bentley is delighted to bring together two brands which have such an impeccable heritage in the heart of London – Jack Barclay and Huntsman,”
said Stefan Sielaff, director of design. “The personalization work we do at Mulliner is about bringing a vision to life – like creating a perfectly tailored suit – so adding an element of bespoke Huntsman material to the Bentayga’s lavish and beautiful interior is a perfect fit.”

Both models are equipped with the twin-turbo W12 engine, capable of 600 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. The engine in the Bentayga Speed levels up to 635 PS, which translates to 626 horsepower at 6,000 revolutions per minute.
