It seems like the launch day of the new Bentayga did not turn into a holiday for Bentley employees, and neither it did for our spy photographers who just caught this wonderful example of a Mulsanne facelift.
The largest of the Bentley models appears to have become even larger, as the car caught by our carparazzi is the long wheelbase (LWB) version and after careful eye measurements, we've decided it might have grown a little.

The main differences can be seen at the front end where the designers had a field day... and then came back tired and worked a little on the car. The bumper has been completely redesigned and it now looks slightly more aggressive, without denting the car's classy appearance.

Also, the two smaller headlights have been significantly moved upwards for a look that resembles more closely that of the new Bentayga SUV. They're also covered with some sort of blue glass or plastic, which means there are some tweaks to be found inside as well. Switching to LED technology would make a lot of sense.

Further on, there's not really much to tell, Bentley deciding there's not much wrong with the car as it is, and frankly, we tend to agree with them. The rear is seemingly untouched, and it's definitely better resolved than that of the Bentayga SUV.

Apart from the headlights, the only part of the Mulsanne wearing some sort of concealment is a small area above the rear door handles. What in the world could they be hiding there? Our photographer suggest it's a new crease line and he's right: instead of running the whole length of the car, the shoulder line now drops just in front of the handle.

The inside remains a mystery, but it would make sense for all the new tech available on the Bentayga to migrate over to the Mulsanne as well. Regarding the powertrain, we could expect some minor alterations to the power of fuel efficiency figures, but nothing really worth mentioning.

There is no scheduled release for the new Bentley limousine, so we'll keep an eye out for any new information. In the mean time, have a look at the photo gallery below for more images.
