Responsible for designing the exquisite interiors of cars such like the Bentley Continental and Mulsanne, Page left the Crewe-based luxury automaker after leading its interior design department for 12 years.

"This is a very exciting time to join the company, as Volvo is moving towards a truly unique design language and is reinforcing the strong identity it is known for," Page said. "In terms of interior design, my aim will be to build on Volvo's modern Scandinavian craftsmanship and take the brand to the next level when it comes to luxury."

The first Volvo vehicle to sport a Robin Page-designed interior should make its debut towards the end of the year as the 2015 XC90.

Jaguar, Rolls-Royce and Bugatti are the other three companies that Robin Page has worked for.
