It's not just automobiles that receive facelifts, as this also applies to showrooms. And the time has come for the Bentley dealership in Bucharest to have its grand reopening in the year when the Crewe marque celebrates its 100th birthday.
The complete revision of the showroom in Romania involved an EUR400,000 ($440,000) investment. The facelift covers the display area, the service facility and the offices. All in all, this Bentley corner of the city has 650 square meters.

On this centenary year, the carmaker's local operation is enjoying a celebration of its own - the Flying B has been present in Romania since 2007, while the original form of this showroom was introduced in 2013, with a sales milestone of over 100 cars having now been achieved for the entire interval.

The inauguration, which took place earlier today, was a display of new and old. To be more precise, the showroom welcomed a Mulsanne Speed, along with a 1948 Mark VI.

The Mulsanne Speed has a dominating presence, with the Black Velvet finish staying true to its name: in the shade, this hue gets extremely dark, while sunlight allows its purple accents to shine.

And when it adorns a sedan whose twin-turbo 6.75-liter V8 delivers 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque, the display of force is memorable.

As for the Mark VI, this is one of the over 150 publicly-displayed jewels of the Tiriac Collection (the collection packs twice as many machines) and beauty is just one of its assets. For instance, the rear suspension of the open-air model is adjustable and this can be done using a controller on the steering wheel.

This Drophead Coupe is one of the only 35 Bentleys to have been bodied by Grabber, while its trophy cabinet involves title like "Best in Class" at Pebble Beach and Class Winner at several RROC Memorials, such as Meadowbrook.

Since the Bentley centenary celebration took place on July 10, 2019, multiple events dedicated to this will continue to take place throughout the year, in multiple parts of the world.
