If there's an SUV besides the G-Wagen that has star potential, that's the Bentley Bentayga. It's powered by too many cylinders and looks too ugly to be ignored, especially after being modified this way.
There's no denying that the Bentayga will draw even more attention with a Mansory body kit. But this SUV is supposed to embody everything from elegance to the performance of race cars a century ago. And we can't help but wonder what's been lost for the sake of being different.

Regardless, having something no one else does is a California tradition. And while half the population seems to be obsessed with the Prius, this Bentayga tuned by RBDLA sits on the opposite scale.

Mansory's massively impressive kit includes everything from fender flares to new bumpers. Extra wings and a diffuser suggest this Goliath is destined for the track, but no such thing is true. In fact, the only place this Bentley feels at home is Rodeo Drive.

So how much does widening the first Bentley SUV cost? A mere $78,000, as most of the parts, are made using real carbon fiber. And that doesn't include the installation and the complex black and gray paintjob you see here. In addition to the body modifications, this Bentayga features a set of 24-inch Forgiato Auguri-ECL wheels in a custom two-tone finish that completes the extravagant appeal.

We'd mention the 3-piece design, but it's no big deal. Instead, we're going to point out how tiny the brake rotors look because of the oversized alloys. Considering the vehicle weighs around two and a half tons, we would have upgraded the stopping force instead of adding a splitter that has no chance of generating downforce.

Of course, if you don't want 24-inch wheels, you're welcome to try something else, especially the 22-inch alloys Mansory made for the Bentayga. Speaking of which, the tuner can boost the output of the mighty new W-shaped engine to 701 hp (515 kW) and 1050 Nm of torque.

Theoretically, that will also increase the top speed by about 6 miles per hour, but few SUV buyers are crazy enough to push past 186 mph.
