Sometimes, people can't be bothered to reach the legal age for driving or for whatever reason can't get a license which is why Europe still has a substantial market for moped-cars. We found one that looks just like the Fiat 500, and it even has convertible and Abarth-look models.
Bellier is the world's oldest surviving moped manufacturer, established in 1968. And even though you look at this Fiat clone and think it's made by the Chinese, the company is located in France, where it has two factories, one on the west coast and the other near Paris.

While larger rivals such as Microcar and Aixam use standardized ABS plastic molding, Bellier has hand-built glass fiber bodies, which is perhaps why they offer so many variants.

The thing we don't understand is why youngsters can't just wait a couple more years to drive a normal car. I mean, these fake Fiats cost a small fortune, as we've even found one for sale at €15,000. Ouch!

In any case, the B8 was launched back in 2014, and we don't understand how this is legal to sell. From the front, it looks 90% like a Fiat 500, and there's even an Abarth copycat, complete with a chin spoiler, twin exhaust, racing stripes, and fake scorpion logos.

But even though it costs a lot of money, the B8 can't come anywhere near its Fiat counterpart when it comes to the engine, because the law won't allow you to access that kind of power without a license. Thus, you have to make do with a 2-cylinder diesel engine rattling away and delivering a massive... 5 horsepower. Honestly, we'd rather drive a lawnmower.

And because, as we've mentioned, the car is very slow and custom made, you can have a B8 cabriolet too. The part of the roof that folds away is even larger than the one on the Fiat 500C.
