This transatlantic joint effort is aimed at delivering more special edition helmets that encompass the motorcycling heritage on both shores of the pond. Ace Cafe of London thus joins the ranks of other big names in the business to have collaborated with Bell in delivering custom helmets, such as Carey Hart, Roland Sands Design, Corey Miller, Skratch, Airtrix and Chem Candy.

The first two limited edition Bell helmets that bear the unmistakable mark of the Ace Cafe are the Ace Cafe Custom 500 and Bullitt Carbon. These models are also representative for Bell, as they symbolize both the old-school tradition of the American manufacturer and the modern becoming of its products.

While the Ace Cafe Custom 500 is a retro-design helmet that harks back to the bikes of yore, the Bullit Carbon represents the future of head protection, a lid manufactured from advanced materials and according to the latest safety standards.

“The release of the Ace Cafe Custom 500 and Bullitt is only the beginning of what is to come. We plan to collaborate on larger and more influential projects that will capitalize on our shared enthusiasm and passion for motorcycle culture,” adds Chris Sackett, Vice President of Bell Helmets.

Indeed, another Ace Cafe-branded Bell helmet is on its way and will make it into the shops this summer. The third member of the limited edition will be a Race Star model that will arrive later this year, just in time for the Isle of Man TT.

In fact, Bell and Ace Cafe of London have even more and bigger plans for “collaborative efforts around major events, shows, racing and the Isle of Man TT,” a press release says. This means that we're likely to see these lids making appearance in a lot of places that are important for the motorcycling industry, and possibly seeing the line extended with more spectacular designs, too.

Nice to see that Bell has not lost their appetite for stylish things, even though the company changed hands recently and became one of Vista Outdoor Inc.'s brands. No price or availability for these two helmets known so far.
