You have probably seen the viral video from a couple of weeks ago, where some jet fighters were flying too low over some highway in Belarus. Well, they were not playing tricks on drivers nor did they some faults, they were exercising a highway emergency landing.
Some countries, like North Korea, Poland and Belarus, have designed their highways to be used by aircraft as landing strips in case of an emergency. More advantages of highway landings may come in case of war, when aircrafts can land for quick fuel and munition refill, instead of flying to an airbase.

Whatever the use and benefits are, fact is that this sort of operations took place on a highway in Belarus. MiG-29, Su-26 and -27 fighter planes practiced landing and takeoffs on the highway’s closed segment, being accompanied by support helicopters doing the same thing.
