The former automotive leader know as Toyota has unveiled two more concepts at the Auto China 2012 in Beijing yesterday.
These two vehicles are called the Dear Qin Concepts and preview an upcoming model for the global market. The car was shown both as a four-door sedan and as a five-door hatchback. The automaker has been slow to reveal the technical aspects, but it seems the focus has been placed on the design this time.

Both use elongated strips of light to draw attention to the front end especially. The design is similar to the hybrid designs seen at other major motor shows, in that the glass structure has a rigid and airy feel, with focus also being placed on wheel design and large grilles.

The two cars are using a completely new architecture, most likely for C-segment cars, and production versions will arrive in 2013. Toyota says that by 2014 almost half the vehicles in production will use the global compact segment platform.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
