Days ago we showed you the amazing new Ducati Scrambler by Holographic Hammer and now it's time you meet the bike in the flesh. The first photos we showed you were merely digital creations depicting how the bike would look like in the end. However, we're glad to tell you that the real, road-going machine looks even better.
It took Sylvain Berneron - the man behind the Holographic Hammer name, and his team 14 weeks to finish the build, but the result is, as we already said (and most likely will say some more times), spectacular.
Thanks to Ducati and Moto Heroes, the Holographic Hammer Hero 01 could be transformed from a wet dream into a bike that screams for open-road freedom.
Instead of choosing the strongest wire spoked rims, HH went for top-drawer all-carbon wheels and shod them with slick Pirelli tires, making a clear statement as to the intended use of the Hero 01.
Seeing if carve through the turns at high speed and knowing that these sticky slicks would allow a bold rider to lean much harder around a bend also introduces a new sensation to the world of Scramblers.
The Hero 01 was equipped with premium parts and it is now very far from the stock Ducati. Changes include, as we already told you, Beringer brake hardware, Werkes USA exhaust, Cogito Moto front end, and a lot of parts bearing Rizoma's signature.
No longer a dirt machine, the Holographic Hammer Ducati Scrambler is now a lust machine. And its sound in the video below only makes things even better. We'll soon find out if the Holographic Hammer has plans to deliver a "Hero 01 kit".

A Scrambler with slick tires sounds interesting, to say the least
While the traditional approach to almost any scrambler, including Ducati's, is to add even more terrainability and true off-road performance, Berneron went the exactly opposite way.Instead of choosing the strongest wire spoked rims, HH went for top-drawer all-carbon wheels and shod them with slick Pirelli tires, making a clear statement as to the intended use of the Hero 01.
