Beater Toyota Gets Its Engine Oil Replaced with Bananas, It Still Revs Like Hell

You use the vehicle as a workhorse, obviously, but what if it stops working or becomes too complicated to fix? Enough with the questions, the time has come to provide some answers.

These come from the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, which sees the team of car nuts over at The Speed Warehouse working their gears off to replace the oil on the said Toyota's engine.

When people usually do this, it goes without saying that the used oil makes room for... well... fresh lubricant. Well, the guys upped the ante here, going for the freshest lubricant out there, namely a bunch of just-peeled banans.

After draining the oil, they tried to insert the delicious yellow pieces through the oil filler neck, but this obviously led nowhere. The cylinder head had to be removed, with the boys throwing the bananas inside for perfect lubrication.

As you'll be able to see in the clip, many of them predicted the impromptu servicing solution wouldn't work. Well, it did. In fact, the poor powerplant was even revved like crazy but still wouldn't give up. Then again, the servicing interval might become a little trick, so it's probably best not to pursue this Peel-It-Yourself solution when working on your car.

Oh, and let's not forget the part where we all receive a piece of tuition on how to open a car door with the help of a forklift. Such a stunt obviously requires a delicate balance and tons of concentration, but, as you can expect, this wasn't exactly the case.
