Whoever thinks wagons can't be hardcore obviously didn't hear about BMW's M550d or about Audi's RS6 or about Mercedes-Benz's E63 AMG Sport Wagon. However, you don't have to spend all that money to get a fun-driving, mean looking family car.
The guys from BBM Motorsport proved that point by creating a mean, BMW E91 Touring. The car is based on the 330d model, fitted with a 3-liter diesel engine that initially developed 230 HP and 520 Nm of torque.
After they were done with it, the car now develops 274 HP and 859 Nm of torque!!! That is absolutely incredible and if it weren't for dyno runs, we wouldn't believe them.
The engine now burns more diesel so they had to do something about the exhaust fumes. A Supersprint exhaust was installed alongside some new high-performance air filters that bring more air into the engine block.
Now, in order to keep all that torque on the ground, KW Street Comfort springs were installed alongside a set of 19 inch BBS CH-R wheels with 225/35 and 225/30 tires. As for the exterior, some stickers were applied and the whole car was covered in frozen red vinyl. Looking good.
