It’s very sad to see these legendary little sportscars rotting in some garage, long forgotten by its owners or simply kept there for a planned rebuild that’s never going to happen.
One such project car was recently posted on Craigslist and maybe we can find it a new caring owner - a 1986 Toyota Corolla AE 86.
The seller says it has a TRD short shifter, Toda cam gears, Mikuni dual carburettors, a Megan racing crank pulley, aftermarket sway bars, and adjustable rear axle, a welded SR5 differential, aftermarket coil and ignition and some other parts. So all I can see here is a drift car waiting to be pulled out and cared after.
It has some issues, like the wiring, the lack of an exhaust system but it’s offered for only $1,800, or a trade in if you have something the owner wants.
