Bare-Chested Douchebag Crashes Porsche 918 Spyder Missing Pedestrians by Inches

Ladies and Gentlemen drivers, prepare to meet a man who certainly deserves our “douchebag driver of the year so far” title. Driving a Porsche 918 Spyder bare-chested does make a good start in the race for this accolade, but this was just the beginning for this guy.

The man, who is said to come from Russia (at least that’s what the woman who uploaded the videos seems to say), was partying with the hybrid hypercar on the Epi Plage (beach) in Saint Tropez.

Well tucked into his swim trunks and accompanied by his girlfriend, the guy decided a parking lot full of people and cars was a good place to show off, so he fully dipped into the instant torque potential of the 918.

As he surged forward, he barely managed to avoid knocking over a group of people, but wasn’t able to stop the Porsche in time, rear-ending a Volkswagen. The crash was a pretty serious one, with the hypercar’s airbags being deployed.

Now that he had grabbed attention, the guy decided to act as if there was no crashed elephant in the room, stepping out of the car and having a laugh about the whole story, even waving to the crowd.

While the staff was pushing the car into a parking spot, the man seemed to be unaware of any consequences. The entire action was captured in the clips below, which come from Facebook user Kristina Champin.

Was he clean? Was the car a rental? These are questions that will probably remain unanswered, but this is definitely the one of the worst First World Crashes we’ve seen to date.
