If you’re gonna be dumb you better be tough, or at least that’s what they say. Crashing a Ferrari F430 because of reckless driving and living to tell the story does fit in the category and is a real case which happened not long ago in China.
Tip of the day: if you have a Ferrari and you want to drive in the rain, don’t switch it in race mode and do funny things. It will bite and you’ll end up like this guy here after hitting the fence multiple times.

CarNewsChina’s report tells this ex-gorgeous yellow Ferrari F430 crashed on a wet highway near Fuzhou city in Fujian Province due to loss of control during an overtaking maneuver and hit the guarding rail three times.

It seems to a classic traffic weave fail if you ask us. The driver deactivated traction control and was most probably weaving through the lanes. One slip of the foot on the gas combined to a steering wheel jerk to avoid a vehicle and you’re set up for disaster if you don’t have enough skills.

The driver and the passenger escaped unharmed, as the cockpit didn’t took damage. However, the same cannot be said about the front and the rear of the Ferrari which are a mess of contorted metal.

One of these usually go for at least $150,000 (€129,000) and is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 engine cranking 498 hp and 343 lb-ft (465 Nm) of torque. Top speed is set at just over 186 mph (300 km/h), while the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint happens in 4 seconds.
