As Bam Margera says, not even he “can write this s**t, dude.” His car got stolen outside a gas station in California, as he’d just stepped out to pay for gas. An insane police chase followed, and the night ended with his Bentley crashed into someone’s house.
This is the kind of TV content that would have made fans of the reality show Jackass, for which Margera is best known, really happy.

It all went down on Wednesday night, January 27, as Margera was on his way to Escondido, California, to his shaman’s house for a sleepover. He stopped in Vista to charge his phone and get gas, he explains on his Instagram Live (video below), because he didn’t exactly know how far he’d have to drive. When he went inside the gas station to pay, his car was stolen.

Right away, he says, eight police cars and three helicopters appeared, and the most insane police car chase ensued. According to Sideo TV, three men were inside the stolen vehicle, now pursued by cops into a residential neighborhood, where it crashed into a home. Two men were detained on the spot after trying to escape on foot, and another one is still in the wind.

The number plates on the car come back to a 2009 Bentley Flying Spur made in the UK. The good news is that, despite one heck of a night, no one was hurt – neither when the car smashed into the front of the home nor during the prior police chase. Reports also note that the car wasn’t totaled. In fact, the damage is minimal, and, as the saying goes, it will buff right out after a short visit to a shop.

Available below is Margera’s account of the events and the video at the scene. To make this night even worse, the Jackass star says the clerk at the gas station gave away his phone to someone else.
