"Jackass" series star Bam Margera is known to treat cars with disrespect. After his purple Lamborghini Gallardo received an inflating raft in its cockpit as a prank, got its roof cut-out with an angle grinder and later Bam himself took a leak onto its rear end in the 2006 Gumball 3000 Rally, you can guess what can happen to a rental Toyota if he gets pissed (no pun intended).
Earlier this summer, Bam had a trip to Iceland where he rent a Toyota Landcruiser from Hertz. The company got alerted when the TV daredevil didn’t returned the car in time. Later, the employees found the Lancruiser at the hotel where Bam was staying. He had missed the flight back home and decided to keep the car a couple more days without announcing the rental firm. The Landcruiser was all dented, scratched and had paint splashes both outside and inside.
Bam returned recently in Iceland and he was immediately arrested at the airport for owning the car rental company ISK1,1 million ($7,750 / €5,800). He was held and questioned for a few hours and released after paying the fine.
