Ever tried to ask your toddler to build a Lamborghini Reventon replica in your back yard? Don’t, or you might end up with an atrocity such as the one we have here. The kit showed up on eBay and it’s coming all the way from Australia.
The builder is confident, so he mentions he can ship the thing all over the world, at the buyer’s expense, of course. Speaking of buying, the guy wants AUD45,000 (US$ 42,085 or EUR 30,960 at the current exchange rates). That’s quite a lot for such a poor stand-up comedy show, but somebody already placed an AUD 30,000 (US$ 28,060 or EUR 20,640) bid.

Real bid or not, stranger things have happened in the car world, so we’ll move on to tell you the base car is a Z32 Nissan 300 ZX. It’s a pity that, judging by the description, the builder put quite a lot of work into the car. For instance, the twin-turbo V6 has received a turbo and intercooler upgrade, while further down the power line we find a limited slip differential, so the performance may just be respectable.

This offer even comes with a free driving lesson: “This kit is based on a Z32 FRONT ENGINED sports car so handles extremely well and drives like a normal car in the wet as u have weight over your steering wheels therefore good grip unlike the mr2 and fiero based replicas that loose all handling characteristics in wet weather.”

And we haven’t even reached the fun part yet, as the seller invites V8 fanatics to drop an LS1 into the generously-sized engine bay of the thing. Oh and you'd better watch that interior, it's quite a mess. It does have a shiny gear shifter and a Red engine start button though.

While we’re at it, we have to ad that this would work brilliant if converted to run on rotten tomatoes. You’d get free fuel for life.
