Here's one nifty accessory worth every penny: the R&G Racing tail sliders, a simple and incredibly functional idea which will spare you a lot of money when dropping the bike. Because you will drop it, sooner or later.
Now, if you've ever dropped your sport bike, even in the parking lot, you did not like the scratches and dents in the wide tail fairing, did you? And when that fairing snaps, things are even worse. Well, with the Tail Sliders, its the ultra-strong carbon fiber which takes the damage and your bike remains unscathed.
The R&G Racing Tail Sliders are easy to install with the silicone supplied with each pair. If damaged, they can be easily removed, as well, without damaging your bike's paint.
Tail sliders are currently available for Aprilia RSV4, the BMW S1000RR, Ducati 848, 1098, 1198, the Ducati 1199 Panigale, the Honda CBR1000RR, Kawasaki ZX-10R and the Kawasaki ZX-6R, and 2013 Kawasaki ZX-6R 636 and 2013 Triumph Daytona 675 pieces are in development.
Prices are around $90 (€68) plus VAT, and you can get yours from the R&G Racing shop.
