Motus showed their 2013 MST sport-touring machines at Laguna Seca last weekend and Asphalt & Rubber were on site for some early pictures of the machines. Thanks to them we're happy to tell you the short story of the ultra-cool dash the Motus guys have endowed their MST machinery with.
While color LCDs are no longer making anyone gaze in awe, Motus went the extra mile and has loaded a glass screen in the dash of their new bike. Not exactly the Retina display of an iPhone, but way cooler than the rest. And having an iPad Mini in there at some point in the future isn't even Start Trek...

The display groups together all the gauges and signals of traditional instrument-laden motorcycle dashboards and thins helps for shaving off some weight and adding an extremely neat and tidy look to the brutal MSTs.

All the essential bike and riding data is clearly visible and thanks to the 8 lateral buttons with on-screen labels, navigation is easy and intuitive. It may be less impressive than the touchscreen on the Mission R, but there is still room for improvement.

What's even more important is the fact that the industry and customers alike seem to start valuing the presence of 21st century digital display and command technology. Oh, and one of the absolutely amazing feature is the owner/ service manual in the bike's software, now making minor operations and adjustment much easier. Haynes won't be exactly thrilled with this direction...
