There used to be a time when rallying was a spectator sport that killed tens of bystanders a year, thanks to turbocharged monsters that made as much power as F1 cars. But the world has grown up since then and people just watch the action in high-definition on TV nowadays.
Thankfully, everybody can take an old hothatch, fit a roll cage and go amateur rallying. And things get much more interesting if your a spectator at some backwater location in the middle of say... Central Europe’s Poland.
There are a lot of spectators at this even, and in typical old-school rally style, they aren’t staying away from the action. The jump pulled by the driver of this old Honda Civic would have been amazingly cool, if the landing didn’t take place by the side of the road. Yes, it’s a crash, but a really awesome one at that!
