Aventador, Standing With the Iron Giants

The Eiffel Tower is so much more than a landmark or a tourist destination. It stands 324 meters tall (1,63 ft). Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the whole structure weighs 10,000 tons, or 7,000 ton if you only count the metal frame that’s above the ground.
Unlike modern skyscrapers that move with the wind, the Eiffel Tower only sways 5 inches or about 13 cm in the strongest gust. You really do get a sense that they wanted this one to impress.

The Aventador is somewhat evocative of that spirit. It might be built from carbon fiber, but it’s still not as light as a Ferrari. Inside it, beats the heart of a true beast of metal, the V12 orchestra that could be heard throughout Paris this part summer.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
