Aventador Misses Braking Point at 211 MPH: Off-Road Crash

There aren’t too many cars in the world that will do 211 mph (340 km/h) in a straight line, and there are just as few places in the world where these supercars can be maxed. One lucky Lamborghini Aventador owner got to take his monster all the way up to that speed at “Race the Base 2012 Cold Lake Alberta”, but he got more than he bargained for.
Instead of going home just the silly certificate for participation, he went back to the hotel with a broken bumper.

This happened because he did not attend the morning meeting where they announced the lift-off point had been moved. Doing that kind of speed meant he ran out of runway pretty quickly and ‘crashed’ off-road, barely missing a big light fixture.

The enthusiastic driver doesn’t seem to be phased by the accident that could have been fatal or the damage to the car.
