It seems the rumors that suggested Lamborghini’s new Roadster supercar would be unveiled this fall were true. A thread on the Teamspeed forum states that an invitation is being sent out for the US launch of the Aventador Roadster in Miami, Florida next Monday, November 12.
This is likely a private event at the famous Miami dealership, and we should be seeing a web reveal later this week. The originator of this speculation, user D55L, suggests that Aventador Roadster will likely also be shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which opens its doors at the end of the month.

The Aventador Roadster will be mechanically identical to the coupe, save for one major difference, a two-piece removable roof, most likely made from carbon fiber. These can be taken off and stored in he front compartment of the car.

“The new Anventador LP 700-4 Roadster is crafted from an ultra-rigid carbon fibre monocoque for strength with light weight. Its shatteringly powerful 6.5 litre V12 engine drives through all four wheels. Yet it also offers the thrill of open-top motoring, with the roof down, all the sensations of a high performance sports car and amplified – including the soulful sound of that 691 hp engine. Our most powerful Roadster ever,” the invitation reads.
