Autoevolution Users See Jenson Button as Championship Winner

Jenson Button's unbelievable evolution in F1's 2009 season made us wonder if there are any surprises left or if we should all already congratulate the Brit. We thought about it and then we realized it would be wiser to ask you about it.

As a consequence, we prompted you with this: “1/3 of the F1 season has passed. Will Button's unexpected domination continue until the end?”. According to our poll's results, Jenson Button has nothing to fear as 53% of our respondents chose “Obviously, there's no chance anyone will catch up to him.”

Not everybody agreed with this, however, as 21% of our poll fans believe that “Barrichello will finally show what he's made of.” Either way, Brawn GP will surely have an incredible year.

The rest of our respondents don't actually care about Formula 1, but at least they took the time to express their opinion, as strange as that may be. Twenty-two percent opted for “F1? I find curling to be more exciting than that.”

Speaking of Brawn GP, Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, it's worth noting that their practice sessions at the Istanbul Otodrom didn't go too well. In the first session, Rubens Barrichello took ninth place with 1:29.525, while Button only 11th with 1:29.747. In the second session, the F1 veteran improved to 8th place with 1:29.305, but Jenson Button went lower to 12th with 1:29.430.

If you are a poll fan and want to express your opinion in any possible matter, be sure to check out our homepage (left side, after a bit of scrolling down) for the latest debate. GM, Hummer and Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery are the stars of our weekly poll.
