In case you missed it, this is what we asked our users: Norway might be the first country to ban gasoline cars. Will this become a trend or is it just a phase?
Judging by the results, we can easily extrapolate that Norway's idea will not be met with overwhelming enthusiasm, to use a mild expression.
For those of you who have no idea what we're talking about, here's a quick reminder. Norway has submitted a plan to the country's government which asked for gasoline powered cars to be banned in the country after 2015. The plan was submitted by Socialist Left Party and the country's Finance Minister, Kristin Halvorsen. According to the provisions of this soon to be law, new gasoline powered car sales will no longer be allowed in Norway. Cars already registered will not be affected by the law and neither will be hybrids.
